Hotel vicino a Strauss Theatre Center - Monroe

“This hotel needs to be shut down from the lobby to the rooms. The staff was very rude and argumentive. Pictures of the establishment were fake photos from over 10+years. The pool was shown in one pic but when arrived the pool was shut down for what look like years. When walking into the lobby it smelled horrible. The clerk looked as if she may have been an addict as she took my payment and forged my signature on the receipt. I switched from 3 different rooms, all were the same, bad smell, floors...

“The establishment was very good given the relatively reasonable cost compared to other hotels in the area. We were fortunately given a room on the 1st floor that allowed us to back the car right up to our room - very convenient for loading and unloading. If we had been given a room on the second floor, that would not be the case as there was no elevator or luggage cart. It would have nice to have had an ice machine on our side of the building. The breakfast offerings were rather sparce, but...

“Hotel was undergoing some renovations. Rooms seemed recently udated. Standard King Room was very nice- especially the bathroom. Very large shower with glass doors was a nice update. Very clean. The staff at check in were not very friendly. They were not rude or disresepectful, just very flat. We booked 6 rooms for a group and did not receive a thank you at check in or check out. Probably the only time in 50+ hotel stays in my lifetime when I could say that.”

“Worst and dirtiest hotel I have been to. We asked for a different room in hopes it would be cleaner. The second room was even worse. We couldn't stay there, we left and found another room. ”

“Breakfast was great! I interacted with Stacy on 2 weekends back to back for passing of my family member. Never mentioned it to her b4 hand and was welcoming and full of hospitality. Matter of fact EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON STAFF THE WEEK ENDS OF 4/18-19 and 4/24-25 WERE SO PLEASANT AND WELCOMING AND HOSPITABLE.”

“The room was clean and well kept. The breakfast was a little disappointing with only cold cereal or honey buns. Coffee was way too strong. Luckily there was a McDonald's across the highway nearby. The room opened to the outside and parking lot, but we felt safe. Did not know about the $50. deposit for damages, but it was released before the end of the day I checked out.”

“"Free Self Parking" lol. it's a nice motel. Our room was very clean. The elevator is broken, used the stairs. Tv worked good, good channel choices. Bathroom is okay. Bed was comfy. We bring our own pillows, so I can't speak on the quality of their pillows. Plenty of Hispanic men hanging out, drinking beer, playing music into the night. Thankfully the AC and TV drowned them out. The coffee in the lobby is worse than horrible...but they at least tried. Cracker Barrell is down the street behind the...
