“The place is beautifully maintained and perfect for a comfortable stay in Portree. The real highlight is the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is truly excellent. And if you’re lucky, you might even spot the hotel’s beloved cat wandering through the lobby.”

“Tipica locanda scozzese con pub sotto e camere sopra. Atmosfera carina, personale gentile e divertente, gestore alla mano. Le camere e il bagno sono molto piccole e nei corridoi aleggia un odore di cibo cucinato e stantìo. Non brilla per pulizia, ma si può respirare aria autentica del luogo se si beve qualcosa nella chiassosa e divertente locanda. ”

“Great location right in Portree. Good food in the restaurant and there are many other restaurants within walking distance. Our room was right at the front of the hotel and there was some noise in the square but it did not bother us and I am a very light sleeper. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would stay there again. Travelled with family. Room accommodated 3 adults with room to spare. ”

“Bella casa, molto ben arredata con tanti angoli relax. Staff gentile e disponibile, colazione e cena buone, tutto molto pulito. Camera ampia e confortevole, con tutto il necessario, compreso l'asciugacapelli! L'ultimo giorno abbiamo dovuto partire prestissimo, ma al mattino ci han fatto trovare nel salone, tutto quello che avevamo richiesto per la colazione 'take-away'. Molto soddisfatti, e buona posizione per visitare l'isola.”

“Alloggio indipendente in proprieta’ privata, struttura nuova, moderna, pulitissima e silenziosa. Parcheggio privato, cucina attrezzata di tutto, bagno bellissimo con doccia e vasca. Situata in una bellissima posizione con vista mare, vicino ci sono ristoranti e supermercato. Super consigliata”

“La Scozia è un bellissimo paese, visitato in grande maggioranza da escursionisti, scalatori, campeggiatori, cicloturisti, appassionati di trekking e via dicendo. Insomma da un tipo di turismo che guarda molto ai costi. Questo è il motivo per il quale nelle recensioni dei vari siti per alloggi troverete aggettivi tipo “fantastico” e “superlativo” principalmente per B&B e alberghi economici che, come è noto, nel Regno Unito non sono il massimo per comfort e pulizia. “We had an amazing time at the Tide B&B. A beautiful setting and such a comfortable place to stay. The food was amazing and we were close to many outstanding places to visit. A real gem! ”
