I also told her there was water all over the bathroom floor and asked to have it cleaned up. She brought us the plunger but nothing else. It was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. “The room was clean and comfortable for one night. The front desk door was locked at 3pm and had to use a side window to check in. The lady could not find my reservation and seemed confused but in the end she gave me my room. It was a basic motel and overpriced for what it is but I needed a place close to Burbank airport last minute so it worked. ”

There was a missing light bulb in one of the bedside lamps, and neither of the side table reading lamps worked. The remote control needed batteries. Facendo un breve tragitto a piedi si raggiungevano piccoli centri commerciali e locali di ristoro vari, ma non proprio turistici, per cui si respirava un’atmosfera ben diversa da quella caotica che ci si aspetta a Los Angeles.
