“This place is cute and quaint, and the location is perfect - walkable to everything in the main "village" area. The rooms are unique (I peaked inside a few) and homey, and there are many lovely common areas such as outdoor seating and a wraparound porch. It was calm and quiet despite being fully booked, and when we did run into other guests it felt like we were all friends staying together. ”

“This location was PERFECT for our bike riding group - we made it our home base for a week of riding several islands. Easy 4-5 miles to the ferry. Safe parking for our vehicles and bikes when not in use. Good food and great service at the restaurant. Front desk assistance was spectacular, and they have a fun gift shop. Rooms were comfortable and the flowers were in bloom and everywhere! We'll be back for sure! ”

“The staff was attentive and responsive and continued to check it to make sure we were having a perfect visit. Unbeliveable view from our room and balcony. Nespresso coffee whenever we wanted. I was spoiled. It was the perfect place to come back to after exploring Orcas Island.”

“The Orca Inn is a great place to stay, as long as you understand where you are staying and as long as you determine ahead of time that it meets your needs The Orca Inn is not fancy. If you want luxury then book a luxury hotel (and pay luxury rates). The Orca Inn may not be fancy but it is fun, clean, quirky, and the staff are friendly and responsive. “It's an older hotel with orginal cinderblock walls, that has been very nicely renovated as best as possible. Wood ceilings have been cleaned up and well stained. Nice big beds and good sized refrigerators and stoves. Parking is easy and right outside your door. The downside is noise carries between rooms, as we heard the next door guests easily a few times, but most folks are peaceful. It's in downtown Blaine, so a nice walk all around. “It was especially nice to find that the Trumpeter Inn is on a large property that includes a pasture inhabited by friendly goats and alpacas that eat from your hand (food packets provided by our hosts!), outside sitting areas in lovely flower gardens, and ample room inside to meet, sit, and chat with other guests.”

“The hotel was in a very convenient location. Perfect for your fur babies to take on a walk. The room was clean and well equipped to host our 1 year old and 2 dogs. We had a lovely time. The hotel manager had excellent suggestions to explore on the island. Will definitely will stay with them next time.”
