“The room was large and had all the amenities, but we didn't use the kitchen as we only stayed 2 nights. The room was noisy - busy roads and single-pane windows? Around the property, things seemed to be in a state of reconstruction, so walking along the sidewalks, especially at night (poor lighting) was hazardous. We were charged for the room even though I had prepaid, although they did reverse the charge before we left. We found the front desk person we dealt with a bit hard to understand as he...

“Staff was amazing & rooms met my expectations. However, we don’t receive breakfast, nor housekeeping services the last two days of my stay. Spoke to the front desk clerk and she brushed it off. No compensation was offered. The location is perfect.”

“Construction noise”

“Our travel companion had a medical emergency and I had to cancel. Unfortunately the rate was non refundable. So we didn’t get to stay there. They should implement more flexible rates. ”

“Our stay at The Quarters was wonderful. The apartment is located in walking distance to VA Waterfront and surrounding grocery market SAR. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.”

“Noisy, parking is not easy to find. I parked where it was recommended. I was called early in the morning after i had checked in to come and pay for parking. Mind you i was so tired and having my rest. The rooms next to mine were so noisy. I checked out prematurely and was told I can’t receive a refund. The pictures are deceptive, its not what you pay for. But the price is what you pay for i guess. I checked out and got a better place for that same price. ”

“I had a pleasant stay. The location was perfect. Very central location in Sea Point. Always felt safe. Some restaurants and convenience stores are nearby. The employees were attentive and helpful. I came to run the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon and it was walking distance to the stadium and start/finish line. I would stay there again. It’s close enough to get to meeting points for various tours.”
