“The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Furniture and bedding were comfortable and bathrooms had plenty of towels and bath supplies. It rained a lot during our stay, but we were able to enjoy the covered section of the outdoor deck during the rains and the open section with fire table and comfortable furniture and pool table during evenings when the weather cleared. We enjoyed our stay very much!”

“There’s a lot of bad things I could say about this cabin. But the worst thing was (the wiring). I was worried the cabin would catch on fire. Some of the light fixtures were loose in the walls. Especially the kitchen. We did not use the hot tub. We were informed that if water was spilled out it would trip the electric breaker box.”

“Staying at the Laurel was a very wonderful relaxing time. After touring all the beautiful national and state parks in the area it was the perfect place to unwind and prepare for another day of touring. It is as lovely as it looks.”

“This is a very nice experience for one or two nights. The staff at check-in were great. The location in the woods up in a tree is great. That’s why you go there. It’s quaint and small, an octagonal one room cottage in the trees, with a tree trunk in the middle. It has a cute little deck to sit outside and enjoy a drink or coffee. The hot tub is ready to use and a plus. Why it’s a short stay place, is that the bathroom is tiny and not very private. You must wash your hands and brush your teeth...

“Our family enjoyed the quiet cabin. Only 25 min from our rafting tour. The fireplace gave off a lot of heat and the hot tub was also nice for warming up and relaxing after rafting. Memory foam beds were firm but comfy. The attention to detail with all the bears in the decor was a nice touch, along with the handmade soaps. I would recommend Apple Maps instead of google, which took us to the neighboring cabin.”

“Stayed in cabin #2 for the weekend and it was fantastic. Has all the amenities you need for a relaxing and quiet getaway. Our small dog also had a great time. Great communication from host, very accommodating. You will certainly need 4wd to get up to the site, full size truck or SUV with a little ground clearance.”
