Hotel a Summersville

“We loved the pool! Our room was clean, smelled clean and was very nice. The beds are so very comfortable. I slept extremely well, all through the night, which is remarkable. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Parking lot has some potholes that need filled in and additional handicap parking is needed. Check in/out was simple and quite friendly. I plan to return again soon as I travel to Summersville to visit my son and his lovely wife. ”

“The room had newer furniture and an updated bathroom but was generally unclean. Room smelled bad and the couch in the suite was soaked with a dirty spill that had not been cleaned. Staff offered cleaner for us to clean the room ourselves. We felt uncomfortable being in the room without shoes. The location was convenient and felt safe. Don't expect much for breakfast. ”

“The entire hotel was under construction. The pool was under construction. Expedia dint advise us of that. I demand a full refund. I messaged on the 10th after the hotel said they would cancel and offer a full refund but I still haven’t heard back. Expedia 0/10”

“Carpet was dirty, no place for toiletries in bathroom, bathroom door didn’t latch, had to ask for hot water to make tea, only one handicapped parking spot. Convenient location but overpriced.”

“What an intriguing town and the Elk River Hotel is definitely the place to stay in Sutton. Emily is a native and warm and welcoming and Francisco is a joy. Don't miss his delicious Latin breakfast which is included in the price. The website could use updating. The restaurant at the hotel is closed, though there is a weekend bar, and a good place to eat in town is the Braxton Bistro. The hotel is situated directly on the Elk River in a beautiful spot. Try the glamping unless you have dog....

“We were there off season so many amenities were not in service. Still enjoyed the property and its proximity to the River and hiking. They could run a dust mop under the furniture. ”
