Cozy cabin close to Summersville Lake and the New River Gorge National Park!

Hidden Gem Cabins welcomes you to the Sojourner (Cabin 4). This is a brand new, comfortable wood cabin and peaceful retreat. Perfect for two people! Located alongside a babbling brook that can be heard while relaxing on your back porch, our 4 cabins are located in a quiet, wooded area. You will be renting the Sojourner (Cabin 4) which is a cozy studio cabin that sleeps two people in a comfortable pillow top queen size bed. The space has one full size bathroom with a shower and a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator, toaster, griddle, drip coffee maker, and a microwave. There is a propane gas grill out back of your cabin as well as a fire pit to enjoy with complimentary firewood and we invite you to relax in front of the Roku Smart TV or on your private back porch. Sip your morning coffee as you take in the beautiful scenery around you and enjoy visits from the friendly deer and rabbits that live on the property. All linens and towels provided, along with a starter supply of toilet paper, as well as air conditioner, heat and Wi-Fi Internet. No pets.

This cozy cabin is just 7.5 miles from Summersville Lake and Battlerun Campground, 30 minutes from the New River Gorge National Park and only 13 miles from the town of Summersville where you can find several grocery stores and restaurants. Don’t feel like adventuring too far? The Drennen Dairy Bar, gas station and convenience store is less than a mile away! Because we are centrally located, you’ll find our cabins are a great base camp for all of your outdoor activities - boating, swimming, kayaking, fishing, rafting, hiking, mountain biking, exploring our National and State parks, zip lining, ATV riding, scenic drives, birdwatching, rock climbing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter or just relaxing in the beautiful mountains of almost heaven, West Virginia! You’ll find your passion here!

Parking is available right outside your cabin with plenty of room for your boat or trailer. You’ll love coming back to this cozy cabin after a day in the wild and wonderful great outdoors of West Virginia!

Clean with a comfortable bed & nice back porch. Wish it had had a small cooktop though. Being by a creek was nice but would have enjoyed a simple seat by the creek. Much farther from the lake then i anticipated. But that is on me. Had good sleeps though.

Cozy and warm on a cold night. Close to New River Gorge and towns. Overall very pleasant for a quick stop for the night. I'd stay a few nights if I had more time in the area.

Hidden Gem Cabins really are little gems!
It's a lovely quiet spot. The area around the cabins is nice. Flowers along the sides, yard in the back with a fire pit and grill. Bed was great. We used it as a jumping off point to the New River Gorge National Park. The location was excellent for that. (The cabin, not the bed.) Perfect for 2 people.

Cozy Clean Cabin
I was worried at first after reading a review about it being near an idustrial park or warehouses and it being noisy. But that is NOT the case. It is a garage for a business but the people are not there over the weekend. It was not loud at all. Very peaceful and pleasant. It was also clean! Cute little firepit and a great area to explore. Highly recommend!

It’s ok.
Very cute cabin, but the location was kind of strange. The listing makes it seem like it’s secluded and off away from civilization. But it’s just off a popular street sharing an entrance with a storage facility, you will hear road noise throughout the night if you’re a light sleeper. There is absolutely no cell service anywhere in the vicinity, so make sure you have your check in instructions prior to arriving, since there is nobody onsite you will have to drive all the way back to Summerville to get cell service to check it. There is very basic kitchen utensils and plates available, but I couldn’t make half of the dinner I brought because there wasn’t bowls large enough to mix a salad. I unfortunately forgot my bathroom bag at home and had to shower with hand soap. And don’t forget that the check out time is 10am. Overall I thought it was extremely overpriced for you get, over $200 after taxes and fees.
