I didn’t like the lights in the backyard during nighttime. It is nit good for stargazing/astro photography. Also, there are no bidet in the CR! We had to use balde and tabo. Ew!”

“This place has character. The staff was excellent and accommodating, very friendly and responsive. The rooms are a bit old but clean, everything works, good air conditioner, and decorated with antiques, handmade local items, even a large bookcase with hundreds of interesting older books. The parking is onsite, a bit crowded Saturday night but no one blocked you in and there is overflow parking right outside the gate just a few dozen meters from your room.

“I’ve stayed in many places around the world the space is perfect, it is very spacious and accommodating. My room was excellent for relaxation, especially being use to climate back home. Having the air con made it very comfortable. I was only there for one night and had an early check out but I could see that staying for a longer duration would be very easy to do. “Via appia is very instagramable..nice but for someone who doesnt have their own car its far from the city proper so you will spend extra for a cab o trcycle to take you from the hotel to where ever you want to go..the staffs were accomodating..clean room its good for its price..no breakfast buffet though, they just have a menu list for u to check and itll be plated for you..only downside there were insects flying when we had our breakfast..which is annoying..other than that the place is ok.. ”
