“This was a cozy motel. You could tell care was put into cleaning (I did notice when I had to pull the nightstand out to plug in my charger that it hadn’t been cleaned behind in a while) but other than that it was clean. It’s definitely dated, but still comfortable. The pool was not usable while I was there, so can’t speak to that. Staff was friendly and efficient at check in but after that I had no interactions with them as I had everything I needed. Bed was comfortable, heating and cooling...

“Everything about the property met or exceeded my expectations. Except for the breakfast. The hashbrowns were vastly under-done - they looked and tasted like cooked from frozen in a microwave. The sausages were gray and, like the eggs, pretty tasteless. Lots of salt and pepper and ketchup helped a bit. The wafflemaker was out of order. Like I said, though, other than breakfast, everything else about this hotel was amazing. And there's a Tim Hortons a block away.”

“We would go back! Love the amenities & restaurants. Walking distance to the lake & of course golf course. Great stay- the only complaint- never had a room cleaned.”

“Dont let the exterior fool you. This lovely and clean with a indoor pool gym pickelball court and hockey rink.”

“We loved the location and truly appreciated the recently remodeled bathrooms, but there were definitely some drawbacks. First, the air conditioning unit, which appeared to be pretty new, was quite loud. Every time it cycled off or on throughout the night it woke us up. Second, the window coverings didn’t block enough light which led to lots of daylight coming in at the crack of dawn (roughly 5 am in June).”

“I liked the bed, location, parking. BUT there was no light housekeeping - the bed was never made up, nor towels replaced. There is no cable tv, not even bottled water. The telephone was so dirty, you didn't want to put it close to the mouth. I had to call the office as the hairdryer quit. I don't know when they came to leave a portable one, as I had to leave for a tournament with wet hair. They saw the used towels on the floor and unmade bed, but it was left for all the (3) days I was there. And...
