“Terrible management and very unkind. The position is beautiful. The care of the premises is bad. The lift has not been cleaned for ages. The room with no openable windows was dirty. And at the top of it, they did not clean the room everyday. For the price I paid, the quality and the service was too bad. I would never recommend it”

“This was an awful experience. We arrived at 3:55 to a room that hadn’t been cleaned… it smelled, there was trash everywhere, bed was a mess, towels all over the bathroom floor. I called and was told the cleaners were running behind and it would be another 20-30 minutes. Wasn’t even offered an apology. When we retuned, the room had been slightly cleaned, but still wasn’t great. The floors were dirty, mildew in the bathroom, overall dirty. This was such a disappointing stay. I don’t think you...

“The Emeline was located in the perfect location right next to the Market making it easily walkable to everything downtown. The courtyard was an excellent place to enjoy a night cap. I do wish I had upgraded our room. It was very small. We barely had room to put our luggage and walk around. Bedding was comfortable. ”

“The Richemont is a lovely hotel with well appointed rooms tucked into a side street near bustling shops & restaurants and the College of Charleston. It feels like a gem of a European hotel with excellent service and a relaxed vibe.”
