“An absolutely lovely hotel in all regards other than the street noise. The location, rooms, staff, design are all first rate. The street noise through the single pane windows makes it seem like you are on 2nd Avenue in NYC. They can’t change them due to the historic nature and they do try to mitigate with white noise machines, but still very noisy. So bring your ear plugs and enjoy the lovely, lovely hotel”

“Beautiful luxury hotel in the perfect location. Wakabity score10+! The staff were extremely welcoming and gracious throughout our stay mirroring the Southern hospitality of the propery. Would have loved to have more variety for breakfast entree options. Overall a lovely stay in a beautiful city. We will be back to Planters Inn on our next trip to Charleston”

“Had a fantastic girls weekend in Charleston, and the hotel was key in that. The location was perfect. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool is luxurious. The restaurant was totally happening, and it had great drink options. Ee never heard the neighbors. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to purchase a girls getaway package that included a bottle of bubbles, a charcuterie board, in room massages, and gift certificates to local businesses. ”

“Lovely property with quiet updated rooms - nice shower, towels and bath amenities Excellent restaurant with nice patio seating options A few suggestions— mattress was not firm enough and the plants on private enclosure patio were not well cared for”

“Excellent location. Old facility but updated particularly the bathroom. High end room was small. Continental breakfast small but ok. No signage to find check in/parking . Staff generally good except the valet parking attendant who did not offer to load our luggage into the car. Fire alarm forced us out onto the street one evening - false alarm I guess. Crying baby across the hall clearly heard in our room . Rate between ok and good. Would look for a better place for the price.”

“Room was spacious and well appointed. Matress was decent, but needs updating. Rooftop pool and var were nice, but the drinks are watered down. Staff was very nicee and responsive. Overall nice hotel in good location ”
