“This is a great place to stay when visiting Acadia NP and Mount Desert Island. We stayed with our four children (ages ranging from 14 to 23) and had plenty of space. The back yard and hot tub were greatly appreciated after hiking days. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, but we also took advantage of local restaurants. Wonderful vacation spot! Also, the hosts were quick to respond to questions.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Quietside Cottage. We loved the quiet street for our kids to walk and ride bikes on; we loved proximity to town to be able to walk to ice cream, coffee, and restaurants. We loved proximity to hiking in Acadia, and swimming at Echo lake. We loved proximity to the SW bus stop to be able to get to Bar Harbor without a car. “Diamond in the rough location near Acadia National Park (and all major park must-see locations located within 20 min). Location on adorable, quiet Main Street of NE Harbor and directly above a restaurant/bakery--which made morning super convenient.”

“The Heritage room has beautiful views of the harbor from the semi- private deck as well as the 1st floor deck. There is no a/c, depending on the time of year you visit. Although we did not use the fireplace (summer time), it is beautiful. The town is small & quiet (which is what we were looking for). There's 1 restaurant, otherwise you do need to travel 30 minutes. And, the Inn is dog friendly!”

“We had an amazing trip and the property lived up to the billing. Check in was a breeze. The code worked on the door the first time. The room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed the hot tub the first night and the treats left in the kitchen. We needed extra towels and a blanket and they were easy to find and abundant in choices.
