Inn a Swadlincote

“Great location, easy to get to, great big parking, nice little village with a Chinese takeout across the street, a Coop close by. Sadly the cleanliness of the room was poor. Grime in the bathroom where floor meets walls. Very dirty remote control, some kind of sauce spilled on the side of the chest of drawers. Bed linen clean and bed comfortable. The radiator nob not functioning as it should. Should have stayed two nights but left after the first. Sorry, but proper cleaning of the room is so...

“Ero già stata in questo hotel nell'estate di due anni fa e l'ho scelto di nuovo perchè mi ero trovata molto bene, soprattutto per il confort e la grandezza della camera. Questa volta , invece, non ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative. Camera piccola, un po' fatiscente con un impianto di riscaldamento guasto perchè per tutte e tre le notti che vi ho soggiornato ho sofferto fortrmente il caldo, pur essendoci 10 gradi esterni. “Very basic”

“Very quiet and peaceful area, right next to a church and a town square. Own kitchen and restaurant. Only had breakfast and it was great. Shower and WiFi also worked as it should”

“It’s ok for the price. Helpful staff, good parking, worn out rooms, Stafford town is a bit tired too.”

“The hotel is fabulous, the staff are incredibly friendly and the rooms are clean and luxurious. The only thing that could be improved is to fit air conditioning in the rooms. At night the room became quite stuffy and it's not possible to open patio doors at night. Apart from that - amazing”

“The room was dirty, with cigarette butts and ash in the drawers along with dirty takeout bits, the toilet just had cleaning fluid sprayed on top of something gross, there was no tea making facilities in the room, the food seemed to be from a van outside and the cherry on top was being kept awake at 2am by a voilent sounding drunk trying to kick doors in until the police arrived, then being greeted with ripped clothes and blood on the stairs as we left.”

“For a 500 year old buiklding it is still a really great place to stay. Large bedroom & bathroom. Lots of tables in the dining areas & good menu choice. Massive carpark, a very big plus when booking. This is what swayed me. Shops & cafes near by if required.”
