“Hotel is nice and clean. Only BIG problem: I had wake-up call ordered at 3.30 bcs early morning flight… they forgot! Obviously I had also alarm on my phone, otherwise I had lost the flight. Completely unprofessional. ”

“Our room smelled strongly musty. Either the carpets are moldy or the A/C unit needs cleaned or replaced. The rest of the room was fairly clean. Breakfast was average for hotel food but there was only one option for coffee creamer--shelf stable liquid creamer, which is full of chemicals and not really food. Overall, disappointed! Room was expensive and yet smelly.”

“The property is a repurposed historic home and the rooms very unique in the best way. Staff was so accommodating from housekeeping to restaurant and bar servers. Also, it's just a short walk to local shopping, restaurants and historic sites. We'll definitely be back.”

“Had to move to 4 different rooms, 1st room had horrible smell. When checking in desk clerk went to check if room had been cleaned and said room had a bad smell she thought was coming from garbage disposal and said she was going to pour some bleach down and try to kill the smell. When we got back hours later to go to our room smell was still bad. Staff offered to move us to another room and the TV did not work. Move to 2 more different rooms to find on with working TV. “The property was under almost complete renovation with only two floors of rooms open and the entire entry level was under construction. However, there was no mention of this on the site description. After booking, I received a message stating that the pool, restaurant, and exercise areas were close for renovations, but not essentially the whole building. The available room we were given was not in acceptable condition, certainly far from "Very Good" as indicated by the rating on Expedia. It...
