“Some aspects of the property are getting a bit tired, but overall it had good amenities (restaurant, bar, pool was lovely). Food was good although perhaps a bit pricey, but not unexpected.”

No amenities like a coffee maker, toiletries (a bar of soap or tissues would be nice), microwave or refrigerator. “If you want or need "fancy", Punatea Village may dissappoint. But if you insist on charming, pleasant, beautiful, and inspiring, you'll love this place. It's a bit "out of the way", but then that's perhaps its best feature... except the staff. “Beautiful and unique “hobbit cabins” in far south Tahiti… two warm pools, fish ponds, amazing flowers and foliage, fantastic sunsets, great breakfast. Be aware that the bungalows are open to the elements and there may be a short uphill walk from the parking lot. Nets are provided for the beds and we didn’t have a serious issue with bugs. There are also chickens wandering the grounds, which is fun.”
