The airport shuttle was an utter fiasco. I spoke with the receptionist prior to returning my rental to the airport to ensure the protocol/process for receiving a ride back. I was told to call once I finished and that the shuttle would arrive quickly. I wait over an hour and a half for the shuttle. I called multiple times. Several calls were not answered or I was placed on hold. Then, when I finally spoke with the receptionist I was told that they were on there way. This was after 20 mins. I continued to wait for the shuttle to no avail. I called again. I was told I wasn’t in the correct spot. Which I was. This time I was then told the shuttle was on the way. After waiting an additional 20-30 mins, I called again and was told there was only one driver and he was on his way. I continued to wait in the scorching heat. The shuttle finally arrived. At this point, it was well over and hour and 20ish minutes. While on the ride back, I watched and heard the shuttle driver call to another shuttle informing them they completed a pick up.
This process was beyond frustrating. This was the only reason I selected this property, for the shuttle.
The next morning, I had an early flight which was outside of the shuttle hours. I booked a uber to the airport. When I checked in I asked what time the shuttle comes in the morning and confirmed it was outside of the hours I needed to be at the airport. While waiting for my uber, the shuttle driver escorted a family to the airport. Don’t book them!
