    Lo spazio

    La nuovissima sistemazione di lusso presso The Otway Nest è tranquilla, silenziosa e privata, immersa in splendidi giardini e circondata da foresta pluviale e paddock agricoli. Gli ospiti sono felici con la serenità, la tranquillità, l'aria fresca e l'avifauna e la fauna selvatica.

    Boutique nel design ma ricca di dettagli e comfort, The Otway Nest è introdotta da un ingresso privato in una deliziosa sala con finestre evidenziate che catturano viste gloriose di antichi alberi della foresta pluviale.

    C'è un lussuoso letto matrimoniale con coperte elettriche, lenzuola, cuscini oversize, doonas, trapunte e coperte, e spazio per riporre e appendere i vestiti.

    Oltre a televisione e WiFi, ci sono giochi da tavolo, una piccola biblioteca, un binocolo per il birdwatching e un ombrello.

    Il bagno in camera è dotato di cabina doccia, morbidi asciugamani da bagno in cotone egiziano, saponi e shampoo e asciugacapelli.

    L'ampio angolo cottura dispone di forno e grill, fornelli, frigorifero, forno a microonde, macchina per il caffè e cappuccinatore, tostapane e bollitore, ed è pieno di stoviglie, posate, bicchieri, utensili, ecc. Forniamo anche disposizioni per la colazione gratuite come cereali, latte, pane e yogurt freschi fatti in casa, marmellate, tè, caffè Nespresso, oli, senape e così via.

    C'è anche un deposito per biciclette disponibile, se lo si desidera, un barbecue Weber con serbatoio pieno di GPL e tutti gli accessori per barbecue, un set di bocce e una varietà di biciclette da noleggiare per adulti e bambini.

    A pochi metri di distanza, è disponibile anche Otway Haven, leggermente più grande e in grado di ospitare fino a quattro persone.

Otway’s hidden gem

Excellent location and facilities. Clean, quiet, cosy and comfortable for 2 adults and two dogs. Ideal location for exploring the Otways and close to Apollo Bay.

Very happy with our stay. Accomodation had everything we needed, short drive to apollo bay. Quiet spot up in the hills, nice bathroom shower etc. Highly recomend..

Stayed with my partner and 8 yo Dog. Great little cottage in the Otway 10 mins to Apollo bay. Idyllic surroundings with nature all around and great walks . Easy check in process .

Stayed here for accommodation the night before great ocean road Mara. Wish I didn’t have to get up and leave so early. So warm and cozy on arrival and just a lovely little unit

Our overnight stay at Otway Nest was a complete nightmare. What was meant to be a peaceful getaway turned into a scene of verbal abuse and physical intimidation. The host, Lawrance, was incredibly rude and abusive from the start. We felt physically assaulted by his behavior. The situation escalated during checkout when he refused to let us verify that we had all our belongings, preventing us from ensuring nothing was left behind. To make matters worse, he actually threw our food and bags away. We weren't the only ones targeted. We spoke to fellow travelers staying at the property who were traumatized after Lawrance barged into their room while they were mid-change/getting dressed. This is a massive violation of privacy and safety. Despite his aggressive behavior and the fact that he disposed of our property, Lawrance is now attempting to charge us extra fees. We have already contacted the police and filed an official report regarding the assault and the theft/destruction of our items. We are demanding a full refund. Please, do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. No one should ever have to experience the level of hostility and lack of safety we felt here. Stay away

This was by far the worst stay I have had in my life. Upon arrival we found our room was not cleaned properly for a while, surfaces were either dusty or dirty with stains. The toilet was clearly not cleaned as we could tell from the leftovers in it. The whole room smelt moldy. Hair were on the bed and in the drawers. Corners were full of dead flies and dust. When entering the room we wanted to leave instantly. As we arrived quite late at night and the location is a bit remote we did not have much choice but to stay for that night. Because of the dirt we did not open our suitcases and also did not want to pot any of our belongings anywhere in the room. We contacted the host to let him know that the room condition was not acceptable. He replied without hi or hello or sorry that "Of course. The cottage has not been used for a while, so it may have been a bit of a build-up of dust." This reply and the further communication felt like a very bad joke. The host did not pick-up our calls and was uncooperative in resolving the situation. Altough he was at home in the building next to the cottage, were we saw him sitting at his desk, he did not open the door when we tried to contact him personally and went into hiding in another corner of the house. So we decided to leave and not stay for the second booked and paid night. When taking our things out of the room we saw rough the wiindows that he was watching us on the surveillance cameras of the property. A refund was refused.

You couldn't ask for a prettier stay.

The Otway Nest is located in a rain forest and the drive there was stunning, we arrived and were greeted by a beautiful, modern, and full featured BnB. The heater was on, the home was warm, and small details like having our dogs bowl full of water ready for her arrival was wonderful. A couple of slight disappointments we did have with this stay was a lack of electric car charging (I had no idea I was meant to let them know my car was electric, and there could have been a charge point available if i had) We couldn't sms or call the care taker, we had to email and wait for a reply to get simple questions answered, and when i did try to run an extension cable from a power point to trickle charge my car the power switched off. It was turned back on and they asked me not to charge my car. It was pointed out that Appolo Bay had a charger, so we drove there only to find out it was hidden inside a Motel, and used for customer cars, and both charge points were currently in use. It is quite a drive to get to the stay, and heading to the next destination was stressful, we spent time in the evening trying to plan out where we could charge and how to make it work. Also security cameras were intrusive and not ideal in a private setting, they did not look where we were staying, but even going for a walk in close proximity to our unit we felt watched. We arrived and let our dog sniff around, and was told to pleas stay on our side of the property. Spoiling a possible lovely stay.

It was perfect for a short stay to photograph various waterfalls in the Otways. Clean, interestingly arty twists, and private.

Beautiful cosy hideaway

This is a lovely little boutique hideaway for a couple (with dogs if approved by the owner). Stunning scenery, peace and quiet, cosy warm and stylish interior. Excellent communication and friendliness of the host.

Happy vacay

Our one night stay was perfect at the Otway nest. It was quiet and secluded. Beautiful gardens. Room was clean and bed was comfy. The walk in shower and the lux bath robes were great. Laurence was a great communicator and provided good info on the area. Recommend treating yourself to a stay at the Otway Nest 😊

Otway spectacular

This is beautiful, comfortable quality accommodation not far from Skenes Creek. We had a beautiful morning coffee drinking in the spectacular outlook.

Lovely cottages

Lovely cute and quiet cottage with all the amenities. There were lovely free jams, cereal, milk, coffee etc. Communication with the owners were great and we had a wonderful stay. Only wished we could’ve stayed longer.
