Hotel vicino a Tarnished Truth Distilling Co. - Virginia Beach

“I had a nice stay at Barclay Cottage Inn overall. The property was clean, reasonably priced, and conveniently located near the beach. The service was also good, and I had a pleasant experience with the staff. My biggest disappointment was the breakfast. I realize the property describes it as a continental breakfast, so I may have had different expectations based on some of the breakfast photos I saw online. The breakfast offered during my stay was fairly limited: bagels with cream cheese or...

“Was upgraded to the best suite and the staff catered to us repeatedly. They were so friendly and”

“I stayed for one day which happened to be my birthday. I was able to checkin early which was a big help. I was gifted with a Happy Birthday sign and a Sparkling Cider Bottle to celebrate my day. For a Hotel is pretty good. All the staff was pleasant and helpful with finding places to eat and places to shop. I had stayed here before years ago under different management. And even they were amazing. I got the Standard Suite, with a King Size bed, a sofa in another room, fridge and microwave. Table...

“Our hotel room was perfect, and we loved hearing the oceans waves.”

“Great ocean front location! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Large breakfast buffet included was a bonus. They should include parking in the nightly rate though instead of charging $20 extra per night.”

“I really appreciate it”

“Room was great, view amazing. Parking a challenge as big pick up trucks Stick out and Almost impossible to pass them on corners. Breakfast okay but not what I've become accustomed to at other hotels. Pillows great mattress uncomfortable”

“Every room has a ocean view, and staff was very nice and helpful.”

“The staff was very unhelpful. Never had anything available at the front desk. Have to wait for housekeeping to bring something and then they don’t get that correct. No late checkout, not even 10 or 15 minutes housekeeping knocks on your door even with a do not disturb sign on the door! No hair dryer one roll of toilet paper. Very lackluster. Mostly all the restaurants near the hotel were closed. And what was open was horrific ! Was scammed by custom prints across the street. No response from an...

“I did not receive the room that I booked online and was told that I could not have it because I booked through a third party. I was also told that I could not be told what the price difference was. I paid for a more expensive room and was forced to stay in a cheaper room with no refund of funds or anything.”

“room was facing the ocean was great vision !”
