“I depend on reviews when I travel. I read the reviews for this property prior to booking. I cannot understand how there are so many people giving good reviews. I can handle an older place that is dated. This hotel is those things but it’s also dirty and smelly. There were hairs on the refrigerator door and a child’s toy underneath the bed. The room smelled like years of cigarette smoke and mold. I very rarely give terrible review but I don’t want anyone else to fall for the trap that I did...

“Exceeded expectations! Newly updated room, very clean! No carpet which is a plus ( I really dislike carpeted hotel rooms!!). Staff is very friendly and respectful and helpful! Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area! Great value for the money! ”

The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, modern and spacious. We’ve stayed in several places around Dunedin and this was definitely my favourite thus far. Keep up the great work!”
