“The listing says free parking on site. In fact the property is down a pedestrian alley with no vehicle access - that said there is ample free off-road parking close by. Given it's location it's very difficult to find, the view of the property on the listing is only visible once you're inside their yard behind a locked gate - I drove up & down several times looking for the property. Once I spoke to the property it was easy enough to find, but you do need directions! All that said the bed was...

“Clean and friendly staff ”

“This is an affordable hotel for a family short stay, clean, appears to be recently refurbished, located in a muslim neighbourhood near a mosque not far from the city centre. Friendly staff. It doesn't have a parking place but they gave us a spot to leave our car overnight. It is good in general if you are looking for a cheap family room for a night or two.”

“Room was damp and smelt horrible, particularly the bathroom. Was also very noisey from the floor above”

“Cleaning was not good enough, webs in showers and mould. Stains on sheets and the dishwasher was not working. We was forced to pay for cleaning, despite all this. Dont recommend this, we felt cheated on.”

“Car park full of rubbish. Got to check in desk needed photo id which never knew about and also had to leave cash refundable charge incase you made any damage to the room. Entrance door has no lock or anything so was just open all the time. Lift out of order. Room nothing like pictures. Had a connecting door to room next door which wasnt very secure so we had to move furniture in front of it. Very in need of redecorating. Marks on walls, holes in carpet. No full length mirror but screws...

“Really friendly hotel. Lovely bright open reception area and bar/restaurant. Fabulous modern rooms with little extras to add to your stay. Great choice and quality for breakfast and a great location with fab views over the Tyne.”

“Excellent hotel and facilities. The reception staff we’re fantastic and level of service was great. Bags taken to room on arrival and shown to your room and time taken to explain everything within”

“Personale gentilissimo, camere spaziose e pulite con bagno confortevole. Parcheggio comodo e sicuro accanto all’Hotel. Noi abbiamo anche cenato menu semplice ma piacevole. La colazione potrebbe migliorare. Location sul fiume a 15 minuti a piedi in salita dal centro. Hotel con piscina che noi non abbiamo utilizzato”
