“Lovely, clean, and comfortable room. The bed and mattress were of excellent quality, and I had a very good night's sleep. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was fantastic. The portions were generous, and the food was of a very high standard. We stayed in the family room and, unfortunately, there was a noticeable iron burn mark in the middle of the carpet. “There wasn't a kitchen as advertised, but rather a microwave. There were pans but no stove to cook on. I bought the ingredients to make a stir fry thinking there were cooking facilities but I had to microwave them instead. The actual apartment was nice, to give it credit, but this is about the only positive experience. The host gave check in instructions but then communication was non-existent. I tried phoning the number given and no answer, I tried messaging to ask about parking and no...

“Room stank of smoke. Bed was appallingly uncomfortable. I’ve never done this before and I’ve backpacked in various places around the world but I checked in and straight back out of this one within 30 minutes. ”

“Where to start, it was cheaper than most places in Newcastle but still wasn't worth what we paid. No air-conditioning, the kitchen drain smelled terrible, the toilet leaked, there were toenails in the bathroom, originally put in a two bedded room when there was 3 of us, very hot stuffy room, unable to open window properly as there was a chain lock preventing us. Beds were clean and fairly comfy.”
