“My Room, was clean comfortable and welcoming. Had a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed. Food in the bar (Indian) was among the best I've had, service quick and friendly. A good stay. Just as a note the rooms are up steep stairs at the back of the pub which wouldn't be suitable for anyone with a mobility issue”

“We stayed here whilst attending a wedding at Coltsfoot Country Retreat and were so pleased with the facilities, parking, friendly staff, and the comfortable, spacious room. The breakfast included was delicious - the full English was huge! If we were needing somewhere to stay in the area again we would definitely visit again.”

“This was very much a last minute job, we were travelling home from 2 days in that London and were worn-out. This was in fact the only place we could find that wasn't either booked up or cost outrageous money. Although, the directions link on the Expedia app took us to the middle of nowhere so we had to phone the lovely people at the hotel for help. When we got there we were surprised it was a much bigger and better place than we expected. Would definitely go again.”

“It was a beautiful period room, the pub downstairs looked amazing, we got in quite late so it had stopped serving food sadly. Really quiet over night and a beautiful location. I will be returning with more time!”

“Great welcome form the team when we turned up last minute. Large vegan breakfast. Warm welcome at Breakfast. Nothing too much trouble. Nice touch was that they went and put the Air con on in the room straight after I booked when it has been 30+ that day. ”

“Ho apprezzato molto il thè e il caffè istantaneo che ho trovato in camera. Il personale è abbastanza gentile, inizialmente ho avuto problemi con il mio pessimo inglese (e mi sono sentita a disagio) ma siamo riusciti a risolvere.”

“Great hotel with modern and spacious room. Comfortable and clean. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Hotel is in an excellent location. Only minor problem was breakfast as there is only a very basic choice. What there is was fine but would be good if there were more items to choose from.”
