“Room was a lovely size and well decorated. Room was relatively clean, with the exception of a few dead bugs in the windows. Room service was slightly disappointing with some items not arriving, and no answer on the phone after to sort it. 10 calls and a voicemail. Breakfast was also disappointing, the cost of £18 per person was very steep especially with very little selection on offer. “The property was new, beautiful and cleverly designed with lovely loung and kitchen bespoke for the three rooms the area is lovely as are the pub/ restaurants”

“The good points are that the room was clean and hotel central. The bad points are that the hotel is very run down and nothing like the website photos. The furniture is old and cheap. The mattresses so soft they offer no support. The facilities are minimal. Staff sullen and grudging. Avoid as much better hotels & inns available. ”

“The hotel was as always clean and tidy with very polite and helpful staff. The only problem was with the swimming pool and spa area . The pool was very dirty and the jacuzzi was broken apparently broken for a while . This said it is still exceptionally good value and the first time of a few visits that the pool has been below standards. We will definitely go again . ”

“Room was okay but small. The mattress was amazingly comfortable albeit the wooden bed frame was a little creaky. The walls are paper thin and the doors closing and opening extremely noisy so not as restful a break as the location demands”

“The room was big and very clean, with a big bathroom, I really appreciated the room! We had dinner in the pub and it was one of the best of our holiday! Also the breakfast was very good and big. I really recommend this place. ”

“Location was fine. Room was freezing. Instructions were incomplete so was unable to change mode to actually heat the space. Brekkie was adequate (comparing to numerous Premier Inns I have stayed in over the past 3 weeks of travel in the UK.”

“We've just had an overnight stay & we'll definitely be back, we stayed in the kingsize deluxe room & it was so spacious and comfortable the bed was so comfy & the shower was amazing with a built-in steam & sauna. Everywhere was spotless clean had tea snd coffee amenities with small fridge was self service to check in which was so easy 10 minutes walking distance to the town”

“Good communal area for children and staff were pleasant. However there was a very strong unpleasant smell thoughout the hotel and in the rooms. There was also large stains on the carpet in the hallways which were wet - we assume they had been recently cleaned. Breakfast was ok - however they had ran out off pastries when we attended at 9.30. Overall unlikely to stay again due to cleanliness/smell. ”
