“The room was big and very clean, with a big bathroom, I really appreciated the room! We had dinner in the pub and it was one of the best of our holiday! Also the breakfast was very good and big. I really recommend this place. ”

“Lovely hotel. Rooms were beautiful,clean and comfortable. Hotel good was excellent. The only issue we had was there was EXTREMELY load live music pulsating through our rooms until 11pm which did spoil the stay.”

Great room facilities including a fan which was much appreciated! Popular with the locals which is always a good sign. Recommended! ”

“Very nice room. Well maintained and clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful, my daughter and family came for dinner, a little disappointed with these, my rump,steak wasn’t the best with a huge rim of fat on one piece (the steak came as two small steaks) this left very little edible meat on that one. the chips were to me over cooked but my daughter thought the opposite so I wouldn’t be too negative with that. “Only went for a night away and a good meal, Never been before, Room was very good and immaculate. Lovely gardens near the river for use in summer. Got to say one of the best meals we have had for ages. Mushrooms and bruschetta for starters, lasagne and fajita's for mains. Gentle hint share a starter, mains huge but both wonderful and drinks well priced. Party of 24 in for a birthday meal but didn't affect our service at all. “A great place to stay. I arrived a little early and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent, I recommend the cheese and onion pie! The room was great, I booked the room with a view and it was worth it. Would happily stay again!”

“My sister and I meet up once a year and we had a lovely stay. I got the booking wrong and forgot to ask for twin beds and they sorted it out for us. So accommodating. Lovely place for exploring Coalport and ironbridge. ”

“Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room with very comfortable bed and hot bath/shower. The bar restaurant area is wonderfully historic and very atmospheric. The menu is superb and the bar has a good selection of real ales. All in all a very pleasant place to stay.”

“The rooms are very comfortable, once you have passed through the hallway. The inn was quiet in the evening and convenient to the Iron Bridge and to the Bedlam furnaces. There are more nice walks across the river. Both the evening meal and the more-than-full English breakfast were excellent! ”

“The property was very clean,well presentable,its in a very quiet location,we never found the hot tub that waas listed but also we never asked either,we had a lovely stay and would certainly return.”

“We was meant to stay here I booked a room with double & 2 singles, when I got the confirmation it stated 1 double 1 sofa bed the property made the mistake, after calling hotels.com to try to resolve I got nowhere, so I had no choice but to book another property. After booking another property I then get a call from this property saying they made a mistake. Hotels.com wouldn’t refund me. So I asked the property to refund me which was short by £20 odd pounds. So overall not a good experience ”
