“Great two night getaway. First night we dined at the onsite restaurant. Very good. Only a 15 minute ride to Meredith. Walter’s Basin was a quick walk for dinner on our second night. We took a pontoon cruise around Squam Lake. Definitely recommend this! Even better if you watch On Golden Pond before you take the cruise. Our room (The Winnipesaukee) was cozy but had ample storage space. There was a refrigerator and 24 hour coffee outside our room. Fresh baked cookies were put out in the afternoon....
