“Loved the room, it was a comfy bed and had all the amenities we needed. The staff were helpful, chatty and very welcoming. We had breakfast most days and lunch on the day we didn’t in the pub downstairs and Alex even remembered what sauce we liked! The pub had a fab atmosphere, the food was lush and the cocktails were gorgeous. Would definitely stay again 💕❤️😍”

The breakfast menu was very varied with fruit, cereals, juice etc to start, and a varied menu with plenty of choice for the main course, beautifully cooked. Would highly recommend. “Parking right outside, easy check in, was shown to room. Newly renovated rooms are clean and decor is great. Comfortable beds and bedding. Fresh milk in fridge. Bar area was warm and welcoming, even on a busy December weekend with very well priced drinks. Would 100% stay here again. ”

“Steve and Claire are amazing, it was a pleasure staying at The Clifton for 2 nights, perfect location to the pier, seafront, pubs and bars. Rooms very clean and tidy, everything you need. Breakfast was brilliant, very accommodating with food choice changes. Cost was more than reasonable and the far better than expected for the price. Comfy beds, quiet area and we slept brilliantly. Ours hosts were so friendly and provided a welcoming atmosphere, we have family in Paignton and will 100 percent...
