“Property very much as expected. Lots of kitchen supplies & utensils plus frig has many condiments. Several gallon water jugs also provided. Only downside is distance from the park - 35 minutes to Maverick entrance gate (which was known). ”

“WOW! What a fun house. We watched the sunset from the pool and turned around and watched the stars by the campfire. Really enjoyed the eye for detail in the construction of the house. You can even see the stars from your bed or while taking shower outside. We will definitely be back. PS. Thanks for letting us bring Miss Belle. ”

“The property is great, very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The facility was clean, overall it was a great stay. The kitchen was well stocked, and had everything we needed. Outside/yard activities were great for our 5 and 8 year old. We got to make s’mores and woke up one night at 3am and got go up the container and were able to see the Milky Way! It was such a great experience. We got to hear the coyotes howling at night, that was a very cool experience. We were a short 45-min-drive...

“The Saloon was so cool to stay in! The front porch was great to sit on and the back had a gorgeous view. It was not convenient to get food (or anything else for that matter) but this was made clear ahead of time so we went prepared. The road was flooded out when we got there but this was also a warning ahead of time and we had a truck so had no issues. We'd go back for sure. This was our favorite place to stay out of an 8 hotel trip.”

“We wanted to have a full Big Bend experience. After doing research online, I went with this location. The videos on their website sold me. We could see the Chiscos mountains from our patio. It was designed to help block the winds at night. We sat under the stars by our fire and just soaked it up. The bed and pillows were comfy, and we felt like we were really in the middle of nowhere...perfect. The hosts were easy to communicate with and the stay was everything we wanted. ”

“Our first time to the Big Bend area. The house felt like home right away. It was exactly as described. He felt like we were visiting grandma. The porch swing was a perfect way to end the evening with a glass of wine. Plenty of space to explore. Thank you, I would not change a thing. ”
