Great apartment in a wonderful location. The host was friendly and attentive. We arrived to see our tv had fallen off the stand/shattered. The host had this replaced the next day and sent help to clean up the area as well.Thank you for a great stay!

I had hoped I wouldn’t need to leave this review, but after trying unsuccessfully to reach a meaningful resolution with the host, I feel I should share my experience. First, the positives: the host is friendly, helpful, and a great communicator, and the property is exactly as described. My concern is cleanliness. I stayed in the bedroom with the attached laundry/half bath. At checkout, guests are asked to strip the bed. When I did, I was horrified to find a large, old blood stain on the mattress cover—one darker area 2–3 inches across, surrounded by a much larger, lighter brown stain that appeared set in from prior washing. Knowing I had slept on it for two nights made me sick to my stomach. More troubling was the response. The host said his cleaning crew acknowledged only a quarter-sized stain and claimed they removed it, then told me the stain had not been there before my stay. I pointed out that I am a 51-year-old man, and the sheets I had just removed showed no sign of bleeding. I encouraged him to have the cleaners send clear photos and address the discrepancy. I understand this likely posed no biohazard risk. My issue is that a visibly blood-stained mattress cover was apparently reused, and the response left me with no confidence in the cleaning process between guests. I will not stay here again.
