Hotel vicino a Texas A&M Golf Course - College Station

“Great”

“Everything was great from the receptionist to the cleanliness of the property. HOWEVER, I would like to state when I booked the room the pictures showed a couch in the Double Bed with a balcony, and it did not. The room was very small, the A/C “worked” but never turned on throughout the night. It was stayed at 75 degrees on a very hot day. “Our stay was disappointing due to numerous issues affecting both comfort and safety. Check-in was slow, and although we reserved two rooms, we were initially checked into only one. The second room was assigned on the opposite end of the hotel before staff corrected the mistake. Throughout the evening, children and teenagers repeatedly ran through the hallways yelling, and late at night groups attending a local football tournament were partying in the parking lot. “The room was clean and breakfast was very good. However, the room that we stayed in had an air-conditioner that was very noisy periodically. It disturbed our sleep, so turned it off during the night. The smoke detector also began beeping in the middle of the night, so had to contact the front desk to reset it.”

“The hotel was undergoing renovation. Wish we were informed well in advance about that so we could better plan our stay. We only found out when we reached there. The hotel was stinking near the entrance. The rooms were old and had dust on lighting fixtures. No hot water in the bathroom sink faucets. Shower didn’t have consistent water flow. Breakfast was alright, not bad. I have definitely stayed at better Hampton Inns, this was disappointing. Glad my stay was only for a night.”

“The rooms were cleaned but drove about 7 hours and booked this hotel because of the pool. We checked in Wednesday night and nobody told us the pool was not working. Thursday morning I even asked staff if they had towels by the pool and said yes. Come to find out the pool was closed. Nobody mentioned to me or on their website the pool was not opened.”
