“There was no staff on site. Rooms are nicely remodeled but the property looks like it is still under construction. My wife was afraid and refused to stay. I had to find another hotel for the night.”

“The entire place smelled like marijuana, cigarette smoke, or fragrance to try and cover up the other smells. They are using the hotel for over flow of section 8 housing so there are homeless people all around the property and in the hotel. There were people doing drugs outside the hotel and no staff member did anything about it. I did not stay and asked for a refund where the staff was very dismissive. “The service was decent. The facility was dog eared, down at heel, tired. The room was dank, unventilated, smelled of stale cigarette smoke, the carpet tacky with unrinsed cleaner, just generally eeeww. And there were quite a few sketchy people hanging around outside, which on top of the poor venue, made me change my mind about staying. I got my deposit back and kept driving. A sadly ‘no thanks’ experience.”

“I brought my wife to the Poscard Cabin because a friend of owers told me about it. I have to tell you my wife had a blast we came here to celebrate her 66th Birthay and ower 20 years anniversary and it was the best choice I made. I will recommend to everyone I know.”

“This is an older property, so if you are looking for luxury this is not for you. It is clean, has working a/c, shower, TV , microwave, coffee maker and a bed. It has a beautiful pool area, although we did not use it. We just need a clean, safe place to sleep and shower. We stayed her last year as well, for Follow the Arrow Festival. Ther is a great restaurant next door.”

“Lovely staff and well maintained and decorated space. Close to all the shops and restaurants in Woodstock. Nice breakfast included as well.”

“It's all great, as far as i'm concerned, but one has to know in advance what sort of place it is. It's a mosaic of rustic on the outside, elegant/modern on the inside, quadruplexes, with classic LPs and a turntable in the room. There's no restaurant, fitniess room, etc.. (which their website makes clear.) i loved it, It's in the heart of the village. You'll want to walk to everything, which I enjoyed. When I was there, I couldn't find a place for breakfast the Wednesday morning I left;...

“To be honest I was surprised that upon entry I went downstairs to the room, but as the property is on a hill it is not a basement room. It’s Kingston and it’s a historic property - the landlords have done a lovely job, the room was well appointed, and the team were wonderfully helpful and responsive, and helped me with my bags. Parking on site was helpful. And I even did a load of laundry while there.”
