“This is a gem of an inn, located just a stone’s throw from the castle walls. The woman who runs it is a delight; friendly and helpful. The room and bed were comfortable and well stocked with teas and coffees and the like. The food - both dinner and breakfast - were excellent. It’s an older building so expect occasionally creaking floors (although they are carpeted) and low ceilings, but that just adds to the charm. Highly recommended if you can spend a night in Harlech. ”

“The hotel was lovely; the rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. It was very quiet and relaxing. The common rooms were very nice and welcoming. The staff was professional, gracious and friendly. We spent a lovely cocktail hour in the lounge and enjoyed delicious custom cocktails. Dinner and breakfast were first rate! Local foods, creatively prepared. We went for an afternoon hike along the canal, which was easy to access from the property. Highly recommend this property.”

“A parte le colazioni calde che erano ottime, le camere sono decisamente sporche, sembrava che le cameriere sistemassero solo il letto (bottiglie vuote non tolte, una farfalla é rimasta a terra morta per 3 notti, capelli non nostri in bagno….). “I had a lovely few days here, the hotel is in the most stunning location. The room was spotlessly clean, and had all I needed. The owner of the hotel was lovely and very friendly and accommodating e.g. to an early checkout. I ate there one evening and the food was excellent. Breakfast is also very good!”

“Ideally situated for walkers. The hotel is 1 min walk from the enterance to the National Park. The room was immaculate. Plenty of hot water and the shower pressure was very good. Some jets flew over its car park during our stay as it is on the Mach Loop. That was an unexpected treat. The owner is very attentive and both evening meal and packed lunch was really nice. ”

“Number thinks left me not nice impression about our stay: luck of washing machine, rubbish left in the bin and blocked shower (tried to call ovner but never receive reply). Small abandoned like back garden, no bbq (as been mentioned in add).On arrival parking was blocked by other cars. The only good thing about our stay is nice picture from dining window. Probably would be good to stay for 2-3 days without kids.”
