“This is not a criticism but room for improvement So, I stayed in the annex part of the property.The room lacked hotel standards..Very dated and the bathroom was not nice at all. The shower mixer didn’t work and there was no water pressure in the shower. I had either a Cold shower or a very hot shower. Room was ok ish. Patchwork filler on walls not complete. Dated woodwork furniture etc. However, the bed was comfy, and breakfast good. Staff were super amazing. ”

“So terrible we walked in and walked out again, drove around to find a different hotel! This hotel gave me the creeps, like something out of a horror movie with an American hostel feel. We arrived late (10 ish pm) and despite the hotel being quite quiet our room was given to us and was one of the last rooms down a long dark corridor at the back of the building. “Excellent staff, super friendly and helpful. Our room 106 needed some TLC but it was super clean and spacious with a very comfy mattress. Breakfast was very good, great assortment of cold and hot food and love that’s it’s a ‘help yourself’ options. Good quality food. Our satnav wouldn’t accept the postcode, so if yours is the same, it’s just off junction 36 of the A1. ”
