“Tara View Apartments is a peaceful, beautiful property. The staff are helpful and congenial. The accommodations are shockingly good for such an economic option. Public transit and taxis are hard to come by, so car hire is recommended. That provided, there couldnt be a better place to stay in County Meath unless one absolutely must be able to get to the city by foot or bus.”

“Was a bit confusing getting to the location at first but we found our way. The size was perfect for our stay. Didn’t need anything big. The floor boards between the rooms was noisy so it was hard getting to the restroom quietly and not waking anyone. It was quiet, except when students came but that was when we were about to leave for the day. Shower was spacious and clean and hot. We really appreciated the tea and breakfast option. ”

“It was the second time that I stayed at this fantastic hotel, and this time was better than the previous one. I just knew the huge buffet breakfast, but this time I also enjoyed with the inner pub. After a long day going around it was so pleasant to avoid walking out and have our dinner inside. Food was excellent and absolutely not expensive, and the bar has any beer that you want. "Our family of four had a truly memorable experience at the Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort. Nestled in the lush greenery of the County Louth countryside, this elegant property is a peaceful retreat with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the genuine kindness and professionalism of the staff — from the reception team to the breakfast and restaurant staff, everyone made us feel sincerely cared for. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent, with thoughtful service and delicious food. The room was spotless, with high-quality Irish bath products in full-size containers, which we appreciated — a rare and thoughtful touch that made us feel at home. And the breakfast was simply outstanding. A generous and beautifully presented spread, with everything we could have hoped for. We only stayed one night, but we truly wish we could have stayed longer. This is the kind of place you want to return to, even just for the pleasure of staying there. Our children were also treated with kindness and attention, especially during dinner, which made a big difference to us. We warmly thank all the staff for their attentiveness and hospitality. We felt incredibly well looked after throughout our stay. We look forward to returning and we truly hope this special place keeps its authentic Irish charm and peaceful atmosphere, away from the usual tourist crowds."
