“Its was very nice to be steps away from the beach. The trade off is there’s nothing fancy like larger hotels. No pool/spa or gym. Worth the trade if you’re not looking to stay indoors. The room was very clean. A plus me was having a fireplace and patio.”

“We stayed at McBee Cottages for only one night. I would have liked to stay longer. It was a good size.The decor was very cute and cottage-y, with beadboard walls and a cozy fireplace. There is one wall with all the kitchen amenities so you could plan to cook some meals. Everything was clean and comfortable. We only realized later how close we were to the beach. It was just a short block to walk there, and Haystack Rock was right there. It was low tide and there were volunteer naturalists there...

If you are looking for an incredible location (steps from the beach), clean rooms and linens, handy room amenities such as a stove/oven, microwave and mini-fridge, knowledgeable and friendly staff (Front Desk especially) AND won't break the budget..... “We were passing through town and only stayed one night. It was nice to overlook the beach, but the property is definitely dated. Beds not very comfortable, and one of the dining chairs was broken. Thin towels and low shower pressure. It was fine for the short time we were there.”

“Cannot recommend this Inn enough! It was so charming and the staff was very welcoming. The location is very close to the beach but not particularly close to eating options. However, the staff did a great job of providing information about this both in advance and during our stay. They also provided snacks on site, charcuterie upon arrival and breakfast in the morning. We were in the room with the in room sauna and it was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. It has its own exterior door...
