Comfort +++
This accommodation was complete with everything we needed. Hosts were very accommodating. Can’t fault a thing. Happy to stay again as close to everything we needed and also not too close to be bomdarded by tourists.

Very nice and clean house, great location with a minute walk to the water, Maria was very quick and friendly wirh her responses. Definetly recommend this place

Family catchup
The Aloha apartment was comfortable, clean & had everything we needed for our stay. The area is peaceful with the beach & the two cafe/bars a short walk away. We will happily stay here again!

Had a good stay
Was close to the beach, had the basic amenities, was quite good for price. Lil wear and tear of an old house like the bedroom door not closing, but nothing to complain about 🙂

Relaxing holiday
It was a good but because people were staying upstairs all you could hear is them moving around and. It was definitely annoying. First night there was no hot water. I assume it was because of the people upstairs used it all. It was quite and relaxing once the people went out for the day. It was clean comfortable and I liked the style. The only thing I could say about the appearance is the outside of the house needs a coat of paint.

We happy to hear you enjoyed your stay overall. Painting the exterior is definitely on our action plan. A level of noise is to be expected when sharing the property, just like if it would be staying in a hotel, motel or caravan park. We price it with that in mind.

Awesome location, great sized house
If you’re looking for a quiet getaway then this is it. The house is tucked down the end of a cul de sac and it’s only a couple mins walk down to the water or the two local cafes. The size of the house was great and we utilised the downstairs apartment also to accommodate a second family.

The photos look better than the actual accommodation it was way over priced for what was on offer
The property was very old like stepping back to 1970 with old lino in the bathroom that had rips in it on the floor and shower was old and uncomfortable, the very small wardrobes had no hanging and there was nowhere to place your suitcases. It felt damp and there was cockroach droppings seen. Kitchen had no bench tops again everything in there was old. Very Disappointed would not recommend to others. Needs some money spent on it.

Hi Donna, I recall that 3 of your employees stayed as they had work in Hervey Bay. I'm sad to hear of your review. We've had many guests who experienced the total opposite and provided us with positive feedback and referrals. We have purposefully decorated our property with a retro island holiday feel. We understand that it is not for everyone.

Great holiday getaway
Friends and I had a lovely stay at this property which was a two bedroom unit underneath the main house. We would have appreciated fans in the second room as there is neither fan nor aircon and it was quite warm when we were there. The air conditioner worked very well when needed however which cooled the place down. Although it sometimes sounds like ‘heard of elephants upstairs’ the property is great and we enjoyed our stay and catching up with family. Great affordable getaway than you

Great beach holiday stay
This apartment is great for a relaxing beach holiday. Beds are comfortable and the unit has everything you need. A little more information in the instruction book (i.e. whereabouts of clothesline, washing machine operation) would be helpful. Host us always accessible.

Extended family stay
Our son and his wife and children stayed in unit while the rest of family was in house, this gave them their own space and they could join in family gatherings as well. The children loved the beach where they swam, flew their kites and collected shells.

Great to hear your son enjoyed staying in the separate unit. It's perfect for extended families. Children have the best time on Toogoom Beach, which is wonderful for parents.

Great position, quiet street, lovely apartment
We stayed for 4 nights over Christmas and it was perfect. Downstairs apartment, all the facilities you need, beds were comfy, plenty of glasses and cutlery. 300 metres from salty squid and goodys on the beach. 200 metres from the beach, and bbq facilities- lots of families having lots of fun. People fishing. Perfect spot for a relaxing holiday.
