The accomodations were subpar with respect to cleanliness and hygiene. The unit is actually a basement apartment and not the whole home in case any were wondering.While the description mentioned air conditioning, there was no way to control it as the thermostat was probably on another floor which you had no access to. This said, it was too warm.We had 4 nights booked but immediately checked out not only for the reasons above but mostly for the lack of cleanliness and hygiene as seen in the pictures. Three bugs were killed within 30 minutes of our arrival, there were items left from previous people, stains on the bedding, urine stained floor by the toilet, attrocious shower with peeling sealant and the list goes on.Another issue is the host's lack of knowledge on how to process a refund. Our case is now with Vrbo to try to sort out. We have had refunds immediately processed in the past so either the Host is uninformed or unwilling to process any type of refund. While communication was fast with the Host at first, it was next to none when an issue arised and a refund was needed.Beware of this host.
Killed 3 of these within a half hour of arriving
Showering items left behind from previous stays leading me to believe this was not cleaned at all
Sealant peeling and moldy indicating the shower has not been maintained nor cleaned to hygenic standards

The apartment was tidy, organized, and visually appealing at first glance. However, several issues during my stay made the experience less than comfortable.Communication with the host was challenging, as responses were only provided through Vrbo chat and often took over an hour. While some concerns were addressed, others remained unresolved.Although the apartment appeared generally clean, important details were overlooked. The refrigerator had not been cleaned and still contained food from previous guests, in addition to leaking water that I frequently had to mop. I also noticed cobwebs in the bathroom, dust under the bed, and even a used vape left on the floor.The most significant issue was the heating. After an eight-hour trip to Toronto, I arrived to find the apartment very cold. The thermostat for the basement unit is controlled by tenants upstairs, leaving me with no ability to adjust the temperature. As a result, the apartment was uncomfortably cold at night. Only after escalating the matter with Vrbo support did the host provide a small portable heater, which was insufficient and had to be moved between rooms throughout the night.The checkout process was also problematic. The listing clearly stated checkout was at 12:00 PM, yet the host sent someone in person to have us leave an hour earlier. Even after I confirmed we would be out by 11:30 AM, I continued receiving messages claiming checkout was at 11:00 AM, contradicting the information posted online.

Very comfortable accommodations! Friendly, attentive host, very clean and pretty furnishings and decor. The beds were especially cozy! We were able to rest and refresh completely, even though we were away from home. We would definitely stay here again!!! Five stars!
