“Very friendly staff who made us most welcome. The meals were excellent. particularly breakfast. The bar was kept open, at our request, on Sunday evening so we could meet the family of the deceased before the funeral. A very important and emotional gathering of old friends.”

“Stayed 2 nights in twin room. The room was small ,however it had everything we needed. There was tea/ coffe/ hot chocolate available in the room that was replenished daily. The room was warm as we were top floor, but there was a fan provided which was very welcome. The bathroom was very small, and you may find a struggle if on larger size, however like rest of property was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and really good. ”

“If you’re looking for a place to stay in this area I would recommend The Ring O’Bells. The staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are clean, comfortable and equipped with the things you need for a stay. Had a good night’s sleep, lovely to wake up feeling refreshed. Rooms are up some metal stairs, no problem for us but be aware if you struggle with steps. Breakfast was excellent. Recommend the Eggs Benedict! I would definitely book here again if I was in the area. ”

“We found this wonderful farmhouse Guesthouse by chance, on the internet and so glad that we did. We stayed there for a few days/nights and NOTHING was too much trouble for the hosts, Sandra and Arthur. Indeed, these lovely people being 'natives' to Dartmoor, have a vast knowledge of how anything and everything happens on the moors. Their knowledge is also invaluable when you want to visit beautiful spots and places of interest within the countryside. We would have NO HESITATION in staying in...
