“Made to feel very welcome and hotel kindly arranged a late check-in without fuss. The room was comfy and clean and the breakfast first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Hotel is in a super location on the bridge with views of the river and just a short walk to shops and amenities. Very friendly - will always go back when visiting Thetford area.”

“The room that I had booked was very correctly described as facing a main road. This did not bother me as I am partially deaf and I simply slept on my left side which blanked out the noise. The hotel itself was excellent and had a river alongside with a walk along this.”

“Nice warm welcome, room was better than we expected at the price, Hot drinks available in room , parking next to room, tv with sky, but only watched the bbc news, Breakfast was excellent nicely cooked, nothing was too much trouble as I went slightly off menu, good price. bar in the evening had a nice friendly crowd in, overall a very good place to stop”

“This is a great value B and B. Although over a pub and close to a main road, very quiet. The pub serves good pub meals, reasonably priced and the staff are very cheerfull. Breakfast was good and the rooms are pleasantly decorated and clean. A great place to stop if you are in the area. The atmousphere in the pub was freindly but not in anyway rowdy. ”

“Had a great one night stay here in a very large apartment, I would describe it as "Shabby Chic" and although it would benefit from a bit of redecoration the size and facilities were excellent, we had dinner at the restaurant below and this was very good and reasonably priced, staff were all very helpful and friendly and we got an early check in which was handy.
My only criticism would be that as this is an old property the windows were of a sash style and only single glazed, this meant that the...

“Both the chord for the window blind and the light in the bathroom had snapped off. You had to be a least 5 foot tall to turn it on. I had to pull the bed out to plug my bedside lamp in. There were not enough electrical points in the room.
They were not doing breakfasts either which was disappointing. The overall appearance would be described as tatty especially the bathroom with tatty paint work on the door surrounds and radiator.
The shower was good the beds clean and the towels were fresh.”

“Stummbled across The Swan on a ramdom drive in Ely.
The staff are very welcoming, took us to our room which was clean, spacious and inviting, the room was over looking a canal, which made it feel tranquil when sitting on the balcony in the morning drinking tea, in the robes provided.
The bed was comfy, decent size walk in shower room too.
Had an ibiza themed night when we stayed, so decent music.
Would stay again. ”
