This charming cottage will have you feeling at home the moment you walk into the door. Peaceful sunsets, lake views and bonfires alongside the lake are captivating at anytime of the year. This licensed short-term rental is conveniently located near 2 public beaches for you to enjoy. Nearby golf courses include Oxley Beach Golf Course, a walking only, 18-hole Par 3 course, and close to Kingsville Golf & Country Club. And for those still working remotely we offer high-speed fiber connected internet WHC (Work from Cottage)!

The lake views were spectacular! The area was quiet and neighbors were engaging. The home was a perfect size and was very clean and well-decorated to be cozy and comfortable. Mary and Rob were wonderful hosts and very responsive. Checking in and out was simple. There was plenty to do in the surrounding areas, too. The best compliment is to say, “we’re planning our second stay” at this lake home. Thank you for sharing your home!

A lovely stay with my very senior Mom. Cottage was very accessible for her to move about. Communication with hosts was prompt and helpful. Cottage has all the basics, including lovely linens, which was very convenient! Beds were very comfortable. (Living room furniture, less comfortable) Lots of storage space and the cottage was very clean. Great shower pressure too. Beautiful view of the lake. Lots to discover in Essex - so we'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay. The place is very clean and good communication from Mary. Great location to various wineries and restaurants. Then after a long day go back to the house and enjoy the views of the water from the backyard. We will be back.

The cottage was very comfortable and clean. The backyard was great for relaxing and enjoying the view of Lake Erie. There is no water access on the property. Mary was very helpful in answering our questions before we arrived and providing clear directions for parking and check in/out.

Great Lake Erie Cottage Stay - Wineries Galore!

This Lake Erie cottage was absolutely perfect for a quick romantic getaway! Beautiful views right off the lake, the house was exactly as pictured and described. Was great being so close to so many great wineries! A truly great spot for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

Relaxing and Peaceful

The cottage was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed to make our 2 week stay very comfortable and enjoyable. We did visit a few wineries in the area, but our favourite part was the amazing views of the lake and the peace and tranquility of watching and listening to the waves. It is everything you want in a cottage!

Wonderful weekend spot

Very clean, everything you need. We visited Point Pelee and Holiday Beach for birding and also a few wineries and farm breweries. Lots to do in the area, and all very convenient. Then come back to cottage to relax and watch the lake.

Perfect spot

The cabin was perfect. Very clean, right on the water. Sat outside and watched a beautiful sunset. Also beautiful views from the front window. Close to towns with plenty of restaurants and wineries.

Mid Week Stay

Nicely located cottage on shore of Lake Erie. Would be nice if you could actually get onto the beach, but I guess tides and rocks prevent that. Cottage is clean and well equipped. Television could have more than one streaming service. I was worried that if I put my Netflix account number in, that someone else could use my account. Overall, a good place to stay with wonderful nearby wineries.

Family reunion

This little cottage was ideal for us to reconnect over a lovely weekend with our son and his family. Our 9 year old granddaughter spent the night Saturday with us. Also we could host a pot luck on Sunday. Perfect for making good memories.

Beautiful lakefront stay

The house was beautiful and clean. I loved sitting on the porch every morning with my coffee. Very comfortable deck furniture. Great place to stay to go tour local wineries.

Such a Gem!

This place was spotless upon arrival. The pictures in the post are exact - such a cute, well laid out cottage. We were there in May and sitting in the backyard, you would have thought we were in the middle of nowhere. It was so peaceful and quiet. After check in we were going to go to a few wineries, however, we loved the backyard and water view so much that we stayed put and enjoyed our surroundings. We will definitely be back!
