“we were very dissapointed that the pool was under construction and therefore closed. We chose this hotel specifically for the pool as we were traveling with kids and they enjoy swimming. I wish we wouldve known about it before and therefore am writing it in the review so others will know to call before to ask. Otherwise the rooms were clean and updated.”

“Great hotel. Location is perfect for walking to bars & restaurants. Had nice breakfast options in the morning. Nice fitness center with plenty of cardio machines & free weights. Staff was very nice & accommodating. The rooms were big, clean, & full of amenities. The only downfall is parking. There is a garage a block away. You can pull up front to unload. Make sure you bring your parking ticket & the hotel will validate it & it will then only cost $10 per night. ”

“The property was not maintained well and we had a mouse visit us in our room on the 5th floor. We left right after the mouse showed up…”

“Poorly maintained motel”

“The poor property condition shows a total lack of maintenance, The curtain rod was falling off the wall, there were no clothes hangers in the closet, there was no tv remote to be found, and the towels were rougher than coarse sandpaper. The neighborhood is very sketchy, filled with people who looked vagrants, drug addicts and prostitutes. The free breakfast was so bad that you would have had to pay me to eat it. I expected a great deal more for the $120/night rate. I’ve stayed at much better...

“The breakfast was 2 granola bars and juice, the doors would not close properly, no shower curtain, mice were running between rooms, walls were stained and it smelt like smoke. Wifi also non existent.”

“This is an old hotel in a lower/mid neighborhood. They don't allow bag checking or early check in. The rooms were old but clean and functional. Price is readonable. You check in through a well worn hole in the glass and must make a cash deposit of $50. Some will be put off by this but it met my needs for the price.”

“Shopping was okay. Furniture was torn. Outlet didn't have no protection. That's a safety has it.”

“Location is inner city terrible. Drug crazed Homeless people out front. Front desk did not recognize Expedia prepaid room and refused to refund charge made to my credit card. Very shady operation. One look at the hotel lobby (about 100 square feet) and front desk completely behind billet proof glass and you will turn around and leave. Booked 2 rooms. TV in one room did not work, shower in the other room did not work. Park on the street (good luck) or a garage 3 blocks away. ”
