“The woman I encountered when I first arrived was very rude. I was about 45 minutes early for check-in. No one was at the desk but I could hear someone behind the wall talking. She walked out, said can I help you. I told her I was a bit early for check-in and she told me that I had to wait because I had a king room. Waiting was fine but when I went to ask her where I could go nearby for food she cut me off and told me I could sit in the lobby. The lifeguard was very nice as were the cleaning...

“The room was dirty and in very bad condition. They changed our room and the air conditioning didn't work in this room, so we decided to cancel the reservation.”

“This was our third visit to The Ivy. We chose to celebrate our 10th anniversary there and we were not disappointed at all. The staff is always top notch from the moment you arrive. Mr. Calvin, Miles, Alex, Valencia, Cynthia and all others treated us like family. I heartily recommend The Ivy to any and all who will listen.”

“We booked this accommodation as it was close to a venue we were attending. There was lots of on street parking. This is a gorgeous, grand old home. Note, Wilson House sits near a busy street. However, once inside, due to triple glazed windows, you will not hear the street noise at all! Also, be aware, rooms are on the 2nd-4th floor and there is no elevator. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were modern. Breakfast was very good. The owners were a pleasure to talk with.”

“This is clearly not 'Hilton standard' property. The building appears run down and old. Elevators and lobby generally didn't appear clean. When first reached room it was unlocked. Washroom is below average. Parking in the property is expensive. I do not recommend!!”

“Very nice hotel! The area is not the best, but overall it’s a beautiful view from the window, the staff was kind, the parking situation if iffy but not bad. Clean hotel but i will say there was no microwave, That was the only bad thing about it.”
