“The hotel is situated in beautiful surroundings and we were lucky to be given a stone cottage apartment with outside decking overlooking the pond and grounds. Beautiful! The staff were all very pleasant but overstretched and and quite stressed at times. Breakfast was good but didn't run smoothly. The restaurant food and service was very good.The pool and spa were really lovely and the gym looked amazing.
Don't rely on trying to get a taxi anywhere. Our main reason for staying here was to visit...

“Nice looking hotel in a lovely location. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park making it ideal to get out and about either walking, hiking, and cycling in the surrounding area.
Waterfall country is about a 30 minute drive away.
Very friendly and polite staff.
Food was on the slightly pricey side but it was excellent quality.
Can’t comment on the pool, spa or gym facilities as we did not use them.
The hotel ceilings as well as the room we stayed in...

Clean rooms, helpful staff. Normally play golf which is also good.”

“The staff were excellent, very helpful.
Food let the hotel down. Breakfast buffet ok… had dinner in one of the restaurants which was 5/10 . Hotel dated and a little tatty in places”

“le finestre non chiudevano bene e c'erano spifferi d'aria non trascurabili.
in seguito ad un guasto alle prese elettriche, segnalato in mattinata, non è stata fatta alcuna riparazione e in serata ci è stato proposto di cambiare camera.
fatto il check out la sera precedente la partenza, al mattino è stata proposta una nuova fattura da pagare (per errore, l'ennesimo)”
