Lynden Cottage - costruito nel 1884 nel cuore di Trentham

Lynden è un cottage storico situato nel centro di Trentham. Offre una posizione perfetta per coppie o famiglie in cerca di un fine settimana tranquillo o di una vacanza rilassante. Situato tra le altre tradizionali case da weatherboard in una delle strade più storiche di Trentham, il Lynden Cottage si trova a 3 minuti a piedi dal centro della città, pur essendo a breve distanza a piedi dalla splendida Wombat State Forest.

Lynden Cottage è stato costruito nel 1884 ed è stato completamente rinnovato mentre cercava di mantenere il suo fascino originale. I pavimenti sono stati recentemente lucidati. Una nuova cucina offre tutte le funzionalità moderne, tra cui lavastoviglie e forno a microonde, insieme a un bellissimo tavolo in pino baltico che può ospitare 10 persone. Ci sono tre camere da letto in grado di ospitare 7 persone, una con un letto king size, un'altra con un letto queen size (e TV) e la terza con un letto a castello e un letto singolo. Tutti i letti sono dotati di coperte elettriche. C'è una lavatrice e la casa si trova su un grande blocco di mezzo acro con un grande trampolino libero a molla rotonda. Una baracca da minatore restaurata risalente al 1860 è proprio dietro il cottage ed è a disposizione degli ospiti.

Siamo ammessi animali domestici. Il cantiere è completamente recintato e sicuro. Puoi portare il tuo cane dentro, ma ti chiediamo di non portarlo nelle camere da letto o di permetterlo sui mobili. Ti chiediamo anche di ripulire il più possibile dopo l'animale (ad es. Peli, escrementi).

Si prega di notare che un piccolo cottage sul retro della proprietà viene utilizzato, nei fine settimana occasionali, dai miei genitori. Questo cottage si trova ben lontano dalla casa principale e c'è uno schermo per garantire la privacy.

Le cascate di Trentham, a oltre 30 m di altezza e la cascata a goccia singola più lunga di Victoria, distano solo 2 km. Le sorgenti minerali di Lyonville distano 10 km, mentre Daylesford, Kyneton e Woodend sono raggiungibili in 20 minuti di auto.

A pochi passi di distanza si ha accesso a ottimi caffè, prodotti da forno Red Beard e Cosmopolitan Hotel.

Lynden cottage perfectly located in Trentham. Comfortable, cosy and charming. Property was perfect for our dog, plenty of room to stretch out. Short walk in to town. Great fireplace and plenty of firewood as was needed due to cold and wet long weekend. But keen to revisit in warmer weather.

We stayed at Lynden Cottage for a weekend while we attended a family wedding. We absolutely loved the cottage, it felt very welcoming and homely. The first night was quite cold and it was a pleasant surprise to find the fire set and ready to go. We loved our stay and would definitely stay there again. Thanks Paul for your hospitality!

We enjoyed our stay in this heritage cottage. Plenty of heating, electric blankets, airco and wood fire and a dishwasher. Plenty of hot water in the shower set in an old claw foot bath. Very cosy cottage , large garden area and minerr were s hut bbq area, undercover parking, all around verandah.. very quaint and tge dog loved it too.

Such an amazing house in a perfect location. The house has everything you need for a wonderful getaway. Trentham has so many things to offer but the house and garden is so lovely you just won’t want to leave. I cannot wait to return for a longer stay.

We were traveling to Trentham to go to du Fermier for dinner - we also travel with two dogs. This cottage was perfect! Walking distance to all that lovely Trentham has, great facilities and the dogs had as good a time as we did! Paul (host) was responsive, generous and professional.

We found Lynden cottage easily and the simple instructions gave us all the information we needed to light the wood heater, warm up and settle in. The lighting and paintings provided a warm cozy atmosphere. The kitchen is big and well equipped and there is an option to sit outside under the trees and bbq dinner. We were three adults and there was plenty of room and also privacy.

Our second time staying at Lynden Cottage. We love it. It's a charming, comfortable destination for a quiet and relaxing weekend getaway. And the dog loves it too with a large, fully secured yard. Arriving to a stacked fireplace ready to light is the icing on the cake. Highly recommend a visit!

Just spent ~1.5 weeks at the property in Trentham. Everything was perfect for my stay, the bed was super comfy, all amenities worked well including the internet. The yard is huge and well fenced for those with dogs. The street where the house is (and Trentham in general) is lovely and quiet, but there's plenty of options for food, shopping and of course there's The Cosmo all within an easy 5 minute walk. Paul was great to deal with and very prompt with his responses. If/when I come to Trentham again, ill be sure to look up this property first to see if it available.

We had an awesome long weekend away in Trentham and thoroughly enjoyed staying at Lindon cottage. The property was great for sunny and rainy days, both for us and our dog. Favourite features were; fireplace, old-style bath, miner's hut out back with seating / fireplace, huge yard and outdoor furniture. It was located closer to Trentham main street than we realised - not too close, but the perfect walking distance. Paul, the host, was responsive and made our stay easy. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay for our 10th wedding anniversary! The cottage is very rustic with modern conveniences. A comfy king size bed in main and very warm with fireplace and potable heaters. Walking distance to Trentham main street and has a huge enclosed garden that our dog Reuben loved! A quiet weekend during major floods in other areas. Daylesford and Castlemaine close to drive. Fabulous eateries and gift shops. Owner Paul was terrific with communication too. Thank you!
