Beautiful views

The patio and backyard were amazing. Spent lots of time out there. Very roomy. Beautiful view! The house was so pretty. Only access in and out of water was ladder on dock which is missing top rung. It was fine for most of us, but the older ladies didn't get in the lake. A set of stairs on retaining wall would be helpful.Living room is one step down from rest of house, which gave us some trouble. Suggest marking it somehow. Maybe some LED lights might work. Something to draw your attention. But overall it was great for our girl cousins weekend.

pleasant stay

we had a pleasant stay. my husband enjoyed fishing. the house needs a little updating, but otherwise it was clean and spacious. we spoke to the manager about a couple of issues we had and she was going to take care of them and lucky it was just the 2 of us so we managed. overall it was fine

Brothers Weekend 2024

This beautiful property and house was perfect for us to get our families together before summer ends. The dock is not setup for fishing but we brought all the needs and were able to enjoy fishing all weekend long. The kids loved swimming off the dock. Everyone just had an amazing time.

Family Getaway

Owner was very responsible to questions. Home was clean and comfortable. Outdoor patio was very spacious and shaded from the afternoon sun. Boat dock had a nice area with table underneath, plus the upstairs deck. Water level was 4-1/2 to 5-1/2' around the dock, so perfect for boat access and swimming. We'll definitely stay again.

April Weekend

This is a great property for a family rental and it’s near the DFW area. We stayed in, played games and visited and enjoyed lots of good food. . We took one drive around the lake to view other properties. It was a rainy weekend forecast, but Saturday was nice weather so we got to enjoy the spacious porch and view of the lake. Our questions to the host were quickly answered.

Great lake house!

My family and I had a weekend Thanksgiving reunion and enjoyed our stay very much! We loved the view, spending time in the backyard grilling out and in the living area when it got cold out. Had a small issue with heat in the master, host was quick to respond and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here for a large group!

amazing views and gorgeous sunsets

We had a great trip at this VRBO. The view from this property is perfect as you get sunrise and sunset views and you have shade throughout the entire day. Morgan, the property manager, was great to work with and she checked in on us several times to make sure things were going well! I would definitely rent the kayaks and splash pad. My kids loved both. Thank you!!!

Beautiful Sunsets

Perfect spot on the lake and we enjoyed sitting on the two story dock in the evenings. Highly recommend getting the splash pad and kayak. Would absolutely be back next year.

Great house on the lake

Rented this house for a belated Father’s Day weekend. The location on the lake is second to none overlooking the main lake area. The house being located near tool and Trinidad gives options if people need things. The house has a nice backyard patio where we spent most of the time while not in the lake.

Lake house getaway

Perfect lake house for a summer getaway. Spectacular views especially from the boat deck. Dip into the lake right at the backyard. Nice backyard equipped with gas grill for great cookout.

Wisdom seeking moments for my 29 and 42 year old nieces!

We really enjoyed staying in your lake home. Upon arrival there were issues with the water flowing out of the kitchen sink, but Doug was there in no time to fix it. Management was great and helpful. Both of my nieces are newly married and both are in the educational field. They wanted a place to relax, play card games and fish while creating precious new memories and gleaming wisdom from aunts and mother. This lake house was the great place to do just that. The house inside is very spacious and the patio is awesome. The view from the inside over looking the lake is so peaceful. We took pictures of the moon coming up over the lake, simply beautiful! The sun rise was beautiful also. The pictures from website are spot on. Great place to stay and get some rest!

Morgan Saved the Day!

We have originally book a different house for our spring break. It was horrible and I left. Morgan was able to get me in to this house same-day with only a few hours to get it ready. We loved this house! It was clean, had all the amenities we could need and view worth a million dollars! Morgan was great to communicate with and made sure we were happy. I definitely would stay there again.

Family fun

The property was very clean. We absolutely enjoyed our time there. The view is beautiful and the house had everything to accommodate. We will definitely return. The only comment of needing a change is the master mattress is very uncomfortable. Thank you for sharing your home.

Great stay on the lake!

This was our first time to visit CCL and I must say we enjoyed it very much. The small towns around the lake are all very nice to visit. The lake itself is very nice. Regarding the property itself, we were pleased. The house had plenty of room and was in good condition and clean when we arrived. Though it was only the 4 of us, you could easily have many more and plenty of space. The property was as expected based on its description and everthing worked well. We did some fishing off of the dock, without much luck, we caught several SMALL catfish, but that was about it. I believe this is more about the time of the year moreso than the property itself. I must mention, there was a family of skunks that visited every night, they were not much of a bother, but if you have a fear of that sort of thing, think about that, they came through the yard every night. This is more so about the area, more so than the property. If you are going to visit the country, then you have to be ready for some critters to show up as well. Also, the bed in the master bedroom is quite firm, not saying it is bad, but it is firm which was not what we were used to. Overall, it was quite usable, but it is definitely firm. I would also like to mention Morgan. Though I did not really need any help with anything, Morgan had messaged me a couple of times just to ensure that I had what I needed and did not have any issues. So I felt comfortable that if I did need any assistance I would have received it. Thanks so much Morgan! All and all, we would deefinitaly stay here again. Nice place on a nice lake at a nice price/vaue. Thank you! Keith

The house was extremely clean and the location was beautiful.

The enormous yard and the patio were not maintained . When we arrived it took an hour to sweep the patio. The furniture is worn out and needs to be replaced. We spent the majority of our outdoor time on the dock, however it had a spider infestation that could be addressed. Also the ceiling fan was broken. If these items would be addressed it would be an outstanding vacation rental.
