Hotel vicino a Tryon Creek State Park - Portland

“Sadly this property is dated, tired, and in need of an overhaul. The floor was uneven, sliding door to the balcony didn’t , tv service was down, and the room smelled of mildew. That is just a sample. Staff were nice enough and location is great. No area in the bathroom (pedestal sink) to put my makeup and skincare. I do not recommend.”

“The pool/hot tub was disgusting. It was unclean and there were no towels or and we were told there weren’t any available. At one point a kid threw up in the pool and nothing was done, so we immediately left. The rooms were fine and the lady at the front desk was nice.”

“Pretty sure I’m covered in bug bed bites. Woke up with 20+ bites all over my body, even tho I checked the beds before going to bed. Reported to front desk.”

“Lovely clean and bright room with balcony facing the river. A running/bike/walking trail was available and a wonderful addition to the hotel placement.”

“The equipment in the gym was in terrible shape and they are very old. Only one treadmill was working, the a/c in the gym was not wotking, no cleaning wipes. The bathroom in all the rooms we have did not look clean at all. All the showers looked dirty. Location is great but this hotel needs more love.”

“The Mark Spencer is not what it was. We have stayed here I think four times and the most recent visit likely will be our last. First kudos to the staff for being solicitous and very helpful. However our room was not cleaned well. We found an old soap wrapper in the bathroom, some lost headphones under the bed, and a spent coffee packet in the coffee maker filter basket. We didn't dare use any of the mugs or glasses in the room, some of which were visible dirty. Apparently the booking...

“It’s a great place to stay! It’s close to Bridgeport Mall, and plenty of great places to eat! The staff at the hotel are welcoming and courteous, and great to work with. The rooms are clean, And gorgeous.”
