“No kitchen, no blowdryer. Bathroom extremely small and outdated . The bed was horrible. The property was outdated.”

“we had an ocean view, the entire place smelt like weed and booze. there were parties all around the hotel both inside and outside as its also a party beach with public access. there was vomit in the elevator, outside on the balcony(s), vomit on the outside walkways from people vomiting off of the balconies, and vomit in the hotel hallways. i really wish i was joking, i brought my family with 4 kids here and it was a wreck. worst experience ever. ”

“We always stay here when we travel to Tybee. We have tried the other hotel behind Tybee (Hotel Tybee) and we prefer Sandcastle Inn much more. It’s an older hotel as they all are there but it is clean and the staff is top notch. They don’t have an elevator so if you require one definitely ask for handicap accessible room. It’s about a 3 min walk to the beach and it’s very conveniently located walking distance to Tybrisa street. They have an outdoor pool that is well kept as well. ”

“We were up all night because the room smelled of paint. The building was undergoing renovations. To combat the smell, we kept all the windows open. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach customer service because it’s automated, and you never speak to a real person. It was the worst experience. I’ve switched to the Heritage hotel, but I can’t say it’s any better. In fact, it’s probably worse. There’s construction scaffolding, and it’s incredibly loud. I’m disappointed with Marriott.”

“The staff here is top notch! They communicated via text to welcome us and let us know to advise them of any needs. Addie is amazing! She did a great job with answering our questions and checking on us throughout the stay. The grounds are extremely clean. They do an excellent job of maintaining the building also ans cleaning the rooms. Everything about this place is top notch! In fact, this was our 2nd stay. “Pros- walking distance to beach & Coligny park. Rooms were clean and the hotel has been updated. Reasonably priced. Allows pets. Water pressure was good & water hot. The manger was very kind & you could tell truly cared about his hotel guests. Cons- the room key system was broken during half of our stay & required us to have a staff member unlock our door as we came & went. The water fountain in the lobby was broken, the ice machine was broken on our floor aches there was no coffee in the...

“Staff was excellent, rooms have been updated and were comfortable/clean. Pool area restaurant/bar had good breakfast/lunch options but are pricey. Enjoyed the water bottle fill station in lobby and armband for room key is a nice update. Only stayed for one night to see some friends that were there, wouldn’t be my first choice but was overall a good stay. ”
