“We always stay here when we travel to Tybee. We have tried the other hotel behind Tybee (Hotel Tybee) and we prefer Sandcastle Inn much more. It’s an older hotel as they all are there but it is clean and the staff is top notch. They don’t have an elevator so if you require one definitely ask for handicap accessible room. It’s about a 3 min walk to the beach and it’s very conveniently located walking distance to Tybrisa street. They have an outdoor pool that is well kept as well. ”

“What laundry service? Parkimg was easy. Staff was overwhelmed with problems from guests. Most of these problems were preventable of they had fully prepared the rooms before the guests stayed in them. Amoung the problems were one lady didnt have a shower curtain. We didnt have a remote and went multiple times and they kepta promising to come help us. One guest had 6 people and two sets of towels for a room with more than one bed. “Everything was top notch”

“We were up all night because the room smelled of paint. The building was undergoing renovations. To combat the smell, we kept all the windows open. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach customer service because it’s automated, and you never speak to a real person. It was the worst experience. I’ve switched to the Heritage hotel, but I can’t say it’s any better. In fact, it’s probably worse. There’s construction scaffolding, and it’s incredibly loud. I’m disappointed with Marriott.”

“Staff was excellent, rooms have been updated and were comfortable/clean. Pool area restaurant/bar had good breakfast/lunch options but are pricey. Enjoyed the water bottle fill station in lobby and armband for room key is a nice update. Only stayed for one night to see some friends that were there, wouldn’t be my first choice but was overall a good stay. ”
