“We absolutely love this property! This is our 2nd visit. Great location. Beautiful hotel that you really don’t have to leave. Staff is wonderful and accommodating. My rating is more towards the guests that were there on this visit and how everything was handled by the staff. The first day was wonderful but the days following were not pleasant at all. It terrified me to arrive at the hotel to find that I needed a security code to gain entrance, a code that was buried deep within several looooong messages from the hotel. “Such a lovely building, clearly loved by all who work there. Information about the property, check-in procedure, etc. was communicated very clearly before my arrival. Fresh lemon blueberry scones were there for a snack when I arrived near midnight. Wow. When booking, I didn’t think about the lack of elevator at this property. My 68 year old knees did complain a little when climbing the external & interior stairs with my luggage.”
