“Amazing place to stay in Savannah! Would definitely come back here again. The bed/pillows were so comfy! The room was spacious and the rooftop pool was a highlight!”

“We stayed at East Bay Inn April 2026. Entering our Deluxe King room, we discovered dozens of pet feces stains on the carpet that weren't properly cleaned. We requested another room, but they could only do that by having us change rooms on the next day or the following day. As we intended to be out walking the Historic District, both days, this wasn't an option. They offered to spot clean the carpet, but there were stains about every 2 feet all the way around the bed, so the entire carpet...

“Perfect location, terrible property. The historic nature of it is cool, but still disappointed by what we experienced here. Staff was decent, Mack the night attendant was the best. The chef who won them a couple Michelin Plates (stars for hotels) is no longer employed here, and they no longer offer dinner service at all. This is NOT a 5 star hotel for those who have stayed in one before. When I brought up our experience to the manager, he said “Well, we are not a self professed 5 star hotel”....

“Nice bed and good breakfasts. However, hated the spray spigots in the shower, the BR window frame was rotting, and just did not like the Bathroom at all; the AC vents were grossly dirty/molded throughout. The downstairs lobby area was very nice but everything in it’s entirety needed a good cleaning.. I would not recommend it.”

“The property is conveniently located in an ideal location centrally to many walkable attractions. It is on one of the most beautiful streets in the historic area. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The courtyard was a relaxing retreat throughout the day. The hotel was offering breakfast that was creative and delicious. They also offered an evening wine and cheese social which provided an opportunity to meet with others staying at the property. ...

“In my opinion is 4 star minus , The room was dirty, with hair on the floor, and the water pressure in the shower was weak. The bedding appeared clean but had old stains. The location was perfect. Also, don't forget to carry your ID with you everywhere, as you have to show it every time you purchase alcohol ,”

“The building is beautiful and very charming. The room we stayed is very spacious and it was for the most part well maintained considering that is an old building. The curtain to the terrace is not well placed and has zip ties holding and some wiring. The jet tub was not very clean and barely hot water. Fully open was just luck warming and even after waiting more than the 5 min they asked (15 min). I asked the staff to change the water heater temperature as plumber, I knew what I was asking. It...

“This inn is amazing. The staff is extremely helpful and the location is great. It’s very clean and just overall wonderful.”

“The hotel definitely has a lot of charm and character, and the property itself is very cute and unique. However, the soundproofing was a major issue — I could clearly hear conversations and even someone talking on the phone in another room. The amenities also felt worn out, with cheap towels and areas that could really use upgrades and refreshing. Overall, it has potential and charm, but in my opinion it does not meet the standard of a true 4-star hotel.”

“Staff was amazing. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and they went out of their way to make it special. Location was perfect. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see. We had a rental car but really did not need due to location and shuttle service available”
