“The Hyatt Place in Downtown Houston offers spacious clean rooms and a nice breakfast in the mornings. Located in a busy Downtown location, the hotel offers valet parking at a steep price. During busy times, it could be very hectic. We sat in our car in the middle of the street for 15 min before we were able to hand our car over. Valet personnel however were courteous and helpful. The surrounding area is a little sketchy at night.”

“My friend and I were underwhelmed with the hotel although Spencer at the check-in counter was very pleasant and helpful. The pool which was the primary highlight of the trip but swimming at night was not a good experience. The water was so cold. You would think for a luxury hotel with a luxury price, the very least, the pool could have been a little heated.”
